 Lion Mould hydraulicscreen changer is used for polymer melt filtration in every segment of plastics processing including: blown film, blow molding, sheet and film extrusion, filaments & fibers, pipe and profile, pelletizing, BIAX (BOPP and BOPS).

The melt filters are designed to be used with all families of thermoplastics, including Polyethylene (LDPE, LLDPE and HDPE) Polystyrene (PS, HIPS), Polycarbonate and Polyesters, as well as a wide range of engineering resins. Through a long-standing tradition of research and development, together with quality manufacturing, Lion screen changers will fully meet your rigorous requirements.
The exchange of the screens is triggered when reaching a chosen differential pressure (Δp).
The screen bearing piston with the changeable filter element is moved out of the housing so far that the oval screen pack of the piston can be removed and exchanged
by the new filter element.
A screen change is only possible during system downtime.
